Beyond The Rave
I’ve just watched a snippet of the new Hammer Film called ‘Beyond The Rave‘.
It certainly looks bloodthirsty, contemporary and has some great music.
Is there a certain element of ‘cheese’ or ‘corn’ there? Can’t help feeling that the acting looks a little under par, or maybe it’s the script.
Maybe I need to see the thing in its entirety.

From what i have seen the music is better than the film, in kissing gothic styled Vampire films goodbye they embraced the more shallow Gen-X culture.
I’m inclined to agree, Gary. I understand that hammer needs to compete with big budget productions, but I fear that they could become just another faceless production company.
Hope they can retain some individualism that helped to set them apart in the first place.
